BendTec is the most experienced pipeline bending company in North America with over 100,000 bends in service and we apply that valuable expertise to every project. In-house custom-designed and built bending machines are capable of bending pipe 66” in diameter with up to 6” wall thickness.

Induction Bends are manufactured to the recognized codes of API, ASME, CSA, ISO, DNV, ASTM, IPA–VIBS, PFI, ANSI, ASTM, and DOT. Materials can range from standard carbon steel to high-yield X-grades, duplex stainless, and corrosion-resistant clad pipe. Bends can be furnished with 1% ovality throughout the arc, allowing for field segmentation. In some cases, our clients require tighter segmentable tolerances, such as projects where the wall thickness of a segmented bend needs to match the wall thickness of line-pipe to improve fit-up and welding. BendTec is the only company in North America capable of producing these truly segmentable induction bends.
